Sukosan → Ždrelac Bay
A gentle first leg while you learn the boat. We usually motor out of Marina Dalmacija mid-morning, once the paperwork and provisioning are done, and point north up the Pašman channel. It is barely four miles to the Ždrelac strait, the shallow gap where the road bridge links Ugljan to Pašman. Drop the hook on sand behind the village and the afternoon is yours: a swim in warm, waist-deep water, a paddle to shore, an early check that every winch and reef line works before you commit to longer passages. Evenings here are quiet. Fishing boats come and go, the light turns amber over the pines, and dinner is whatever the local grill has landed that day. A shake-down leg with no pressure, which is exactly what the first night should be.
Things to do
Cross the Ždrelac bridge on foot
Anchor swim in the Pašman shallows
Provision at Marina Dalmacija
Grilled fish at a Ždrelac grill
Mooring tip
The strait is shallow and narrow, so hold the marked channel and mind the bridge clearance of roughly 16.5 m if you carry a tall rig. Anchor on sand in 4-6 m with good holding and shelter from the bura, but keep the fairway clear.
