How to read these prices
Every figure on this page is the price of the boat for one week, as the partner fleets publish it for the coming twelve months: the same total a booking shows before extras. It is not a per-night rate and not a price per person. The typical week is the median of all priced weeks that start in a month, so a few very cheap or very expensive boats do not move it; the range in the table runs from the cheapest to the most expensive month of the year.
On top of the weekly price you should plan for the obligatory extras collected at the base (final cleaning, bed linen, transit log, tourist tax), a skipper if you do not hold a licence, fuel and mooring fees on the way, and a refundable security deposit that is blocked on a card at check-in. The country guides list the typical amounts for each of these, so the weekly price and the real total can be read side by side.

When a charter week costs less
The season sets the price. July and August are the most expensive weeks almost everywhere in the Mediterranean; the same boat costs noticeably less in May, June, September and early October, when the weather is still reliable and the marinas are quieter. Where a country's season runs differently, the guide's month table shows it.
Booking early keeps the choice; booking late can lower the price. Popular models and the best weeks are gone months ahead, and early-booking discounts reward those who decide in autumn or winter. Weeks that are still free a few weeks before departure often come with genuine last-minute cuts — worth a look when the dates are flexible.
The boat itself matters as much as the month. A catamaran costs more than a monohull of the same length but sleeps more people, so the price per cabin can be similar; a five-year-old boat is cheaper than a new one of the same model; and a motor yacht adds fuel to the weekly price. Comparing the price per cabin between boat types is usually the fairest way to decide.
