The Inner Islands sit close together, so a week here is mostly short hops rather than long passages — Mahé to Praslin is the longest leg at roughly 30 nautical miles, and on most days you are at anchor by early afternoon. From May to October the southeast trades hold a steady 10 to 20 knots, plenty to sail properly without ever feeling exposed; the quieter months of April and November go glassy and clear if you would rather dive than beat to windward.
