Sun Odyssey 479 | Happy Hippo
Description
Meet Happy Hippo — a Sun Odyssey 479 sailing yacht from 2016, offering 4 cabins and waiting for you at her home berth in Marina Kos, Kos, Greece.
The layout of Happy Hippo offers 4 cabins and 10 berths in total. Happy Hippo comes with 4 toilets. Up to 10 people can be on board. Bed linen, pillows and blankets come with some boats and are rented at the base on others — ask us and we will tell you how it works on Happy Hippo.
It also boasts snorkel sets.
At 47.34 ft long and 14.73 ft wide, and with 240 L of fuel, 615 L of water and 54 hp in the engine room, this boat is set up to stay out at anchor rather than run back to port.
Few charter bases in Greece are as well placed as Marina Kos, Kos — within your first day of sailing you can already swap the marina for a secluded bay, a waterfront konoba or an island village that most tourists never see.
Ready to sail? Pick your week, check Happy Hippo's calendar and book online with boat4you — the price you see is the price you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions
Happy Hippo has 4 cabins and sleeps up to 10 people — if everyone in your group wants a bed in a cabin, ask us how the berths are arranged. Up to 10 people can be on board Happy Hippo in total.
The home port of Happy Hippo is Marina Kos, Kos in Greece — you board there on check-in day and return the boat to the same berth.
Yes — for a bareboat charter of Happy Hippo the skipper needs a valid sailing licence and, in most countries, a VHF radio certificate. If nobody in your crew holds one, you can add a professional skipper to the booking instead.
You can charter Happy Hippo from 1,672 € for a week, with the exact rate set by the departure date — the on-page calendar always shows current, bookable prices.
You board Happy Hippo at 17:00 on departure day and hand her back by 09:00 at the end of the charter; earlier boarding can sometimes be arranged with the base directly.
Pick your dates in the availability calendar, review the total price and confirm online — Happy Hippo is reserved for you the moment the booking is placed, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees.
