APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance)

The charterer agrees to provide to the owner an “APA” Advanced Provision Allowance to cover the various expenses during the charter such as fuel costs, food and beverages, port fees, communication expenses, water toys, return fuel costs and other incidentals. In the case that further funds are required for the APA the captain will inform the charterer accordingly to deposit further funds to the owner’s account. At the end of the charter, the charterer will be provided detailed accounts by the captain of all expenses during the charter and in case there is any amount remaining in the APA this will be returned to the charterer by the owner.
