A check-out skipper (COS) is a professional captain that boards with you on Day 1, and is dropped off late afternoon the same day. A COS may be requested by you or may be required by Navigare after review of your sailing resume.

+provisioning ; Crew on board must have their own toilets/ showers. If either a skipper or a hostess/cook is on board, 1 double cabin will be required for him/her. If both a skipper and a hostess/cook are on board, 1 double cabin and 1 forepeak cabin will be required for them. Exceptions exists for specific layouts, Sales Agents will provide more details about the different boat models. A gratuity of 15-20% of the crew fee is customary for excellent service. Cooking breakfast, lunch, dinners, keeping the kitchen clean (not the rest of the boat, not the cabins). NOTE: Cook details will be available 3 days before the charter.

Any crew change during the charter is subject to € 250.- additional cost. The charge includes administration cost, change of bed linen and towels and one night at NY ponton (marina fee included only if the same base than start base). It doesn't include cleaning, nor new transit log where applicable.

Frequently Asked Questions
The home port of Nomade 1 is Hodge's Creek Marina | Parham Town in British Virgin Islands — you board there on check-in day and return the boat to the same berth.
A valid nautical licence is required to skipper Nomade 1 yourself; local rules usually ask for a VHF certificate as well. Hiring a licensed skipper through us removes the requirement entirely.
Weekly charter rates for Nomade 1 start from €2,615, depending on the season — early summer and September weeks are usually the best value. Check the availability calendar for exact prices per date.
