De thuishaven van Spindrift is Hodge's Creek Marina | Parham Town in Britse Maagdeneilanden — daar ga je op de dag van inchecken aan boord en daar breng je de boot ook weer terug naar dezelfde ligplaats.
Om Spindrift bareboat te varen, moet minstens één persoon aan boord een erkend vaarbewijs hebben (plus een marifooncertificaat waar dat verplicht is). Geen vaarbewijs in de groep? Boek haar dan met een professionele schipper en vaar precies dezelfde route.
