De power catamaran Aquila 36 – Caranthir met 2 hutten werd gebouwd in 2020 en ligt afgemeerd in Martinique, Le Marin, Caribisch Nederland.
Tot 4 personen slapen comfortabel aan boord van Caranthir, in 2 hutten en met 2 toiletten met douche; kussens en dekens zitten in de prijs.
Technisch gezien biedt Caranthir 10.96 m lengte, een breedte van 4.45 m, een 600 kW-motor en tanks van 1350 L brandstof / 485 L zoet water — comfortabele marges voor meerdaagse overtochten.
Vanuit Martinique, Le Marin ligt het mooiste van Caribisch Nederland binnen handbereik: rustige ankerplaatsen, historische havenstadjes en open water voor echte overtochten. Zowel korte weekendrondjes als routes van twee weken werken prima vanaf deze basis.
